The rich true blue stone which was a favorite of the pharoahs. In vibrant shades of deep blue, often with streaks of grey and/or sparkling flecks of pyrite. "Denim" lapis has more greys than blues. By special order, $5 deposit per bead.

Blue Aventurine
Varying shades and patterns of nice bright true blue, from pale to medium-dark. Similar in appearance to the more expensive denim lapis. Special order, $10 deposit for first 4-24 beads.

Apatite
Very rich deep color, with a distinctive teal tone and shimmering highlights, often mixed with bits of jasper in shades of red/gold (see more under Mixed Color Gemstones). A classy touch, conservative alternative to the brighter stones such as turquoise. Special order, $15 deposit for first 4-24 beads.

Sodalite
Deepest navy blue, almost indigo, with some streaks of white or grey to set off the midnight blue. If you want only a hint of color on a very formal halter, or want a touch of blue as a dark accent bead to set off a brighter stone, this is a good choice.
